Karmen and I spent a day in San Francisco, with my primary goals set on visiting the Contemporary Jewish Museum by Daniel Libeskind and the Federal Building by Morphosis (Thom Mayne). The Libeskind building had the signature Libeskind shape but toned down a bit, as it was an adaptive reuse. The Federal Building was not in as good a neighborhood and trash was abound though it was a classic Morphosis building.
