Jack, Dan, Jim and I drove out to Yosemite on a long weekend where we met up with Albert and Jen. Right in the middle of March Madness. Great planning, guys. I guess being Cal fans, most didn't care, but Jen (UCLA grad) and I sure did! I had to rely on Thomas to give me updated information on game night. At any rate, the major hike was to the top of Upper Yosemite Falls of 7.2miles roundtrip torture with 2700 vertical gain of countless switchbacks. God I hate switchbacks. I much prefer rock trails, like the first Sedona hike. Thank god I decided not to haul my heavy tripod with me as well. The second day we went to the base of Lower Yosemite Falls which had an elevation gain of zero. Much better. Artistic concentration: ?
