Just before my last year at the University of Oregon, I went to study in the architecture department's Rome program for seven weeks. While at Rome, I also traveled to Florence, Cinque Terre, Pompeii, and several other locations in Italy, sometimes with the class and other times with friends. After completing my studies, I took the train over to Barcelona then flew to Munich, where I met up with some friends. From there, we traveled to Amsterdam, Paris, London, and Salisbury. The camera I was using, the Olympus D360L, was a rather poor point and shoot that provides virtually no flexibility in my shots. My parents were kind enough to purchase the camera for me and I didn't want to burden them with a high-cost camera. I wasn't particularly into photography then because well, I haven't owned a camera before then. Despite this setback, it was this trip that got me more involved in photography. My camera also began to crap out somewhere in Paris. It was officially retired after coming back home. Artistic concentration: ? Extremely low Equipment: Olympus D360L |
